My good friend Aberu gave me a rose for my birthday. She's so sweet!
My friend Blen decided I needed to have some frosting on my face! : )
My friend Abi's birthday was the day before mine so we celebrated our birthdays together!
I celebrated a birthday at the end of June. I’m officially another year older! I celebrated it by going out to dinner with my roommate Cindy and then going to Bible Study and eating cake with my friends there. Cindy and the friends at my Bible Study group are like family to me in Ethiopia. It was a nice birthday, even though I had to work in the morning. The next day when I went to school, my students sang Happy Birthday to me in English and Amharic.
