There’s No Such Person As An Ugly Ethiopian!

I’ve been told not stare back when people stare at me, but gosh is that hard because every single person here is drop dead gorgeous!! I am hoping to post some pictures of some of the many beautiful Ethiopian people, but I haven’t figured that out yet.
They stare at me because I’m white, and I stare at them because they’re black AND BEAUTIFUL. But, I can’t do that for too long because I don’t want to attract the wrong kind of attention!!

Ruthie! how exciting it was to find and read about all your adventures on the other side of the world. how wonderful! and how scary! but i know that god is with you and will bless everything that you do

Ruthie, can’t believe that you are there already… Welcome… Use all your senses in this wonderful journey… and rest assured that God will provide all your needs… Hotel Hope is in its last 30 days before opening on 01 December 2008… and in a week’s time we will open the HOPE Charity Shop in Melville, in support of Hotel Hope… Praise God !
